Municipal Archive of Plasencia

The Municipal Archive manages, preserves, and disseminates the documentary memory of our city, housing records that span from the 13th century to the present day. Among our greatest treasures are the *Fuero* (charter) of 1297 and a royal privilege on parchment granted by Alfonso X in 1255. The archive serves as an essential resource for understanding and studying local history, with its collection notably including municipal minute books, ordinances, and royal privileges.
We invite you, through this website, to explore, research, and consult the valuable documentary heritage of the city of Plasencia.
